We’re looking for a passionate Senior and Medior Front-End Developer to join our growing team. You’ll work closely with correctional facilities, leading airports, security companies, and tech integrators, making a meaningful impact on public safety and security. What you’ll do
As a Front-End Developer, you’ll build and enhance our Inmate Monitoring Platform, bringing critical data from our IoT IR-UWB radar devices to life. This platform operates both as a live monitoring tool and a post-event analysis application in different client environments (multi-tenant). You’ll also have the opportunity to draw insights from our established aviation Data Management Platform to accelerate the project’s development.
You’ll work within a collaborative tech team including other front-enders, back-end developers and a Project Manager, and have access to the expertise of the aviation team (back-end developers, front-end developers, and a data scientist).
Your work consists of:
- Develop and implement user interfaces using HTML, React, and (fill in additional tech stack here).
- Collaborate with the design team to transform wireframes and mockups into fully functional UI components.
- Ensure responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end code.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and front-end development best practices.
- Collaborate closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and support other team members.
Our techstack
- Backend: Python, Django, PostgreSQL, NATS.
- Frontend: React, Typescript, CSS3, SCSS, State Management.
- Infrastructure: AWS, Terraform.
- We have experience with Angular, RxJS, and state management (aviation).
You have
- A bachelor’s degree in IT, software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of front-end development experience.
- Proficiency in React and SCSS, with in-depth knowledge of their ecosystems.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaboration platforms (GitLab).
- Strong skills in web performance optimization and understanding of web performance metrics.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate closely with design teams.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
